About Misaki Endou

  About the admin

Hey, guys. Now that I’m here with my personal blog, I better introduce myself and give some info about me and whatnot.

I, pen name Misaki Endou, am a college student living at Akihabara. I also work part time at Gamers and do stuff you wouldn’t normally see girls my age do. Generally, I am into anime and everything related to it (hence, the blog) and an avid fan of Utawarerumono, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. I also make fanfics, and am presently regularly posting at FanFiction.Net with the same pen name as Misaki Endou, although with two x’es at the front and back. My works are mostly found at Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu section, since that’s where the money’s at. I am planning on some Utawarerumono fics but, unfortunately, they do not get as much attention as they deserve.

Oh, and I’m also a doujin collector, including H. I usually get teased a lot by my classmates for being this addicted but, I say to them, “Your selfish way of thought does not impede my great avid fortitude for anime,” which they do not completely understand due to it being called as ‘Hard English’. Oh, and I am pretty good at English myself. I have a lot of field experience because I would need it when I talk to my Filipino cousins. And, yes. Basically, I am your female equivalent of a hardcore male otaku.

Oh, and I still look good, despite everything I said.

To rate my drawing skill from 1 to 10, with 1 being the suckiest and 10 being the most awe-inspiring of them all, I would rate myself an average of 7. I am good with drawing characters and I usually impress myself with my drawings, but am not interested in joining any artist circles or whatnot. Usually, I draw my Original Characters, with Reika Guemara my latest project. I specialize in drawing women in a myriad of poses and inanimate objects I randomly see. And also, that doesn’t actually stop me from drawing Keroro whenever his ending theme (the one with the drawing) comes-up. I still laugh at that fact, though.

The best anime there is and will ever be (at least for now *snicker*) has to be Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, with Higurashi no Naku Koro ni coming close followed by Utawarerumono. The reason? Well, because not only is the story simply outstanding, but also because the characters themselves present an interesting story behind them (which is also the reason why Rumbling Hearts/Kimi ga Nuzomu Eien isn’t a personal fave). However, my favorite character would have to be Haruhi Suzumiya. She is God and we must OBEY. Second would be Touka. I don’t know why but I would give anything to be her even for just one day. Third, of course, would be Rena Ryugu. BECUZ SHE’S A SADIST, THAT’S WHY!

And now, I will answer the questions people, over the years, have asked me (yes, I keep a record of them)

Q: Why is it that you’re so addicted to anime that were made for males?
A: Call me Konata or whatever you wish, but I should say that I’m quite interested in women and their male partners, hence, the boy-centric shit.

Q: What’s so good about anime, anyway?
A: Well, not only because it presents a whole new experience, but animes depict impossibly sexy women and outrageously handsome men on their cast and their stories, usually, are nothing short of impressive. Oh, and give anime a try, will you?

Q: What’s the use of your original characters?
A: A very simple question with a simple answer. Nothing. They have no use me except for my fanfics, or to anyone for that matter. I just felt neglected that my drawings are all made to waste on my classmates who aren’t all that jiggy about anime like me. I wanted to share this to people who are actually interested.

Q: What’s with the Anime Suck-o-Meter? Can you explain?
A: The anime Suck-o-Meter is something I came-up from watching too much animes that gave me shit-inducing headaches. To tell you guys in more simpler terms, it’s something I came-up to tell you guys how much I like an anime and I’ll gladly explain.

This are the tiers in reviewing:

  • Life-Wasting – The kind of animes that wastes your life by just sitting there and watching it due to the excessive nicotine entertainment it brings. A total eye-candy to all and deserves to be always at the top of lists fave lists.
  • Breath-Taking – The kind of shows that you’ll sacrifice even your lunch and dinner time just to watch it. Totally awesome but has just one or a couple of defects that sets it below the best. Still, it gives entertainment that’ll glue you to your seats.
  • So-so – Great animes that can make you sleep til late at night. However, they have some basic flaws or just have something that’s totally missing to make it even greater.
  • Hell-Maker – Shows that are entertaining but lacks story or originality. May be sad or may be homorous, but makes you feel like you just wasted your thirty minutes on something you could spend on something much more productive… such as doing nothing.
  • Worthless Scrap – Useless pieces of shit crap that does nothing more than take-up extra space on your CD stack. It usually makes itself apparent by inducing large-scale brain damage or anything that can last as long as you remember what you just watched.

Q: Why the hell are you writing this!?
A: It’s 12:46 am and I do not know why. I hope that answers your question.

Q: What is the answer to this question?
A: …
